The Lightest Two-Person Set
A Japanese friend of mine has always loved the TOAKS POT-550-L-NH. For him, it’s just the right size—light, compact, and reliable. He uses a lightweight pot lifter to cook with it, and stores a 110-gram gas canister inside when packing. It’s a setup that’s served him well on many solo trips.
At just 62 grams, this pot is made from pure titanium with a wall thickness of only 0.3mm. For a 550ml pot, it’s about as light as it gets.
Now, life has changed a little—he’s hiking with someone special! His girlfriend shares his love for the trail. And naturally, he came to me with a new request: a cook set for two, just as light and compact as his original setup—and still able to carry that 110g gas canister.
So here’s what we’re working on: a new titanium pot, just 1mm smaller in diameter than the POT-550-L-NH. It will nest neatly inside the 550, while also fitting a 110g canister inside on its own. A perfect fit—for the gear, and the people carrying it.
Maybe in the future, this product will be available in Japan.
I will also make a customized anodized pot for his girlfriend. The pot will have such a beautiful color that she won't bear to use it for cooking and will only use the inner pot to cook food.

My friend has received the finished product. The product weighs only 102 grams, which can meet the needs of him and his girlfriend for mild backpacking. He is so happy. Then, he took out his aluminum pot lifter and hoped that I could make a titanium pot lifter for him.
